Happy Super Tuesday!
Are you following the election? Crazy year, right? Makes for some interesting T.V. watching!
But enough about the Presidential election, and on to more important things! Decorating for Spring!
I had some happy mail arrive yesterday from my new obsession! Well not really new but definitely an obsession…Magnolia Market
I just love everything about Magnolia Market, Chip and Joanna, and their show Fixer Upper. They are a beautiful family of hard workers and you can feel the love that they have for each other and their 4 adorable kids! What they accomplish as a team is truly amazing! The show, in case you've never heard of them…(What??) is a smash hit on HGTV. It takes you the viewer through the entire process of buying and fixing up a Fixer Upper. They present the buyer with 3 homes that are in desperate need of fixing up, to say the least. From there they reveal the future design, the process of demolition, and Joanna's beautiful styling and decorating of the home. It's amazing!
So on to reason for this post…
I ordered these faux Magnolia Market/Paper white bulbs for my dining table centerpiece. I wanted something beautiful to go in my antique dough bowl and thought this would look charming for Spring! It's a simple and easy project and I thought you would like to see it.
Here's what I used…
Instant green moss
Place your floral foam in the container or bowl of your choice and make sure its secure. Cover with green moss to cover any foam that's showing. I hot glued the moss so it would stay put.
Arrange your paper whites in the foam and adjust everything so that again, all foam is covered. I left the roots showing because it makes it look more lifelike.
And that's it. Like I said simple, easy and beautiful!
Have a wonderful day!
