How I Do Fall!

Friday, October 14, 2016

Well Fall is officially here!

I thought I would drop in and show you how I do fall!

With all the outside construction going on, I kept it pretty simple! I hope to have some final pictures of the exterior soon! It came out better than could be expected, and we are absolutely over the moon with it!
We keep going outside and staring at it, and saying, "Is this really our house??"

But onto Fall...

Every fall I have to bring out the ole cow hide rug! He or she is one of my favorite things! I layered it with an Ikea sisal rug. But I definitely think I need a larger sisal rug. So that's on my shopping list soon! There's one from World Market that I've been eyeing. So we'll see!

Some other touches are these beautiful horse prints from Pottery Barn. I love horses and this is probably the closest I'll ever get to owning one! :(
You can find them here and here.

Also from World Market is this Tribal Carved Coffee table. I just love this table and with my little twin grand babies the rounded corners are baby safe!  It brings such a warmth and texture to the room. You can find this table by clicking here.

Also adding to the warmth of the room is my West Elm Natural tree stump side table. This table is so cute, and gets many compliments!

The breakfast area has gotten a few touches of fall too. Wheat wreaths from Michael's adorn the salvaged shutters on either side of the french doors. And my love for white pumpkins continues on the buffet table. Birch logs for all those cold Florida nights fills an old wire basket.

I also just purchased this round sisal rug from Ballard Designs and it looks wonderful with the round table. It just makes sense right? Round table, round rug! We're all happy now!

I played around with some blue and cream pumpkins for my blue dining room! I had this crate (that a gift came in) and I painted it gray. Then after wandering the aisles of Michael's and finally coming up with some pretty blue, blue-green, and cream pumpkins,  I filled it up!  I then tucked some lambs ear around it, and I had a centerpiece!

That's how I do fall!
