We've now made it into the dining room. Welcome! Can you hear the Christmas music playing? Smell the aroma of my pomegranate and spice candles?
Come on in, sit down and relax.
One thing I love about blogging is setting up scenes and staging for imaginary dinner guests! Sometimes they're real, but it's more fun to pretend! Less work for sure!
This year I've been crazy for boxwood! There's just something so classic Christmas about it.
My inexpensive brass DIY pots that you can see how I made here are filled with paperwhites. They're coming along nicely. I'm still amazed at how inexpensive this project was, but it looks so glamorous!
That's my kind of project!
Sparkling gold and glass ornaments fill each bowl. Giving the table a little shimmer in the candlelight!
The neutral chevron ribbon from Save-On-Crafts gave it a casual look, while dressing up my white wooden chairs. Casual is definitely more my style than fancy-schmancy but I do enjoy a little bling at Christmas time! If you can't be a little fancy at Christmas when can you?
My forest of champagne glitter trees from Pottery Barn is definitely an eye-catcher! And makes the perfect back drop to the dining room table. It feels like you're eating in an enchanted forest!
More boxwood wreaths on either side of the french doors adds symmetry to the room.
I hope you've enjoyed dining with us!
Come again soon!
