Beautiful Tampa Homes

Saturday, May 17, 2014

For those of you that don't know I live in Tampa, Florida. The Sunshine State!

I was born and raised here, so it's the only thing I really know. We have beautiful beaches and gorgeous sunsets! Growing up we spent every summer at the beach. We own a boat and I love the fact that at a moments notice we can take it out and be enjoying the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. It would be hard to imagine living somewhere not close to the water. It's home!

We also have beautiful homes. One lazy Saturday afternoon Mike and I took a ride to get some ideas of  an update we're thinking about for the front of our home. This is a great way to get inspiration for the exterior of your home. Drive around and see what others have done! More on our plans later.

So I brought along my camera (as always) and starting snapping pictures to have as reference.

I thought I'd share some of our stalking leisurely ride. So you could take in a little bit of Tampa.

Of all the homes this one was my favorite. Not overly opulent, just quaint and homey.

This is another of my favorites. Love the cream brick with black shutters. And who wouldn't love that front entrance!

Which one is your favorite?

This is my home…If I could tell you the journey that the front of this house has taken through the years well…it would have to be another post.

Future plans for the front:
************
**New carriage style garage door
**Pavers for the driveway and sidewalk leading to front door
**Adding stacked stone to the brick stucco on the bottom half of the house

We'll see what the future holds and when I know you'll know!

But this is Florida, need I say more.

What are your plans for the weekend?

Make it a great one!
XO,

I like your house the best! I think if you add stone to half the house it will appear even shorter and look very stumpy. The rest of your plans sound great! .
