Holiday Ham!

With the Holidays you want something quick and easy for your Christmas feasting! Right? Of course, I'm right! Who wants to fuss in the kitchen while the rest of your family is enjoying their presents and relaxing! And believe me through the years, I've tried everything! I saw Ina Garten on a show recently making this ham and I thought, "That's it!" That's our Christmas dinner! We just made sandwiches out of it with potato salad and chips. But, you could make some great sides with it. I told you...easy!! So here it is:
It's an Orange Baked ham, but I used a Mango chutney instead. The orange zest, mango and brown sugar make a to die for glaze! It's a spiral sliced fully cooked ham. So all you have to do is whip up the glaze! Here's the recipe:
1 14 to 16 pound fully cooked spiral cut smoked ham on the bone
6 garlic cloves
8 1/2 oz. orange marmalade or mango chutney
1/2 C Dijon mustard
1 C. light brown sugar, packed
1 orange, zested
1/4 C freshly squeezed orange juice
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Place ham in a heavy roasting pan
Mince the garlic in a food processor. Add the marmalade, mustard, brown sugar, orange zest, and orange juice. Process until smooth.
Pour glaze over the ham and bake for 1 hr. until ham is fully heated and the glaze is well browned.
