Fall Container

Thursday, December 12, 2013

If you're like me I start hating my yard in the winter. Although here in Florida what is winter? We've had no cold days except on Thanksgiving, which was one of the most beautiful days ever! For some reason our oak trees have already started to drop their leaves. I think that one little cool snap freaked them out. They usually don't start dropping leaves until after Christmas. So to perk up my back porch,    I decided to plant a couple of fall containers. So off to Lowes I go. They had a great selection of fall plants. And this is what I ended up with:
This is Purple Pixie loropetalum, alyssum, snapdragons and pansies
When planting a container garden always remember to have 1. A tall plant 2. A thick plant 3. A trailing plant
Water 3x a week and enjoy!

Happy planting!
